Nidal Al Ahmediah to “Trendify”: The lady’s husband is evoking to know the source, I don’t fear law

Nidal Al Ahmediah

Nidal Al Ahmadieh, the editor in Chief of Al Jaras magazine, said to “Trendify” in response to the breach of privacy accusations Hossam Habib made against her, that when Hussein Habib, Sherine’s father-in-law, said what the published voice recordings included, he was completely aware of what he said.

Al Ahmedieh: Hussam's father said the facts he always mentions in all events. No one obliged him

“Hussam’s father is not under the legal age and no one obliged him to say what he said. He said facts that he always mentions in his daily life and all events”, Al Ahmadieh added in clarification of the reason why the voice recording, that was published by Al Jaras, could not be considered illegal or be referred to as a form of privacy invasion.

Al Ahmedieh: Since when have I feared legal measures?

Al Ahmadieh added in exclusive statements, “Since when have I feared legal measures?”. The voice recordings were referred to a specialized lawyers’ office that would know what to do next with them and how to follow up.

All these are attempts from the “lady’s husband” to evoke in order to know the source as he would want to take revenge from the source who revealed him, Al Ahmadieh declared.

Al Ahmedieh: Our major concern is the source's confidentiality

“Our major concern is the source’s confidentiality”, Al Ahmadieh added as she confirmed the use of camouflage techniques in order to protect the source’s identity. “Source protection is our ethical duty”.

Al Ahmedieh: I won't give the lady's husband more reasons to insult her

Al Ahmediah declared that although Al Jaras own other voice recordings, no statements would be made about them at present. “I won’t give the lady's husband more material to promote himself through videos and insult her in every time he makes an appearance”

It’s worth mentioning that, an unsettled dispute has started since the lebanese magazine Al Jaras published voice recordings for Sherine Abd Elwahab’s father-in-law in which the latter declared his son’s intention to rob his wife and remarry a younger woman, who would be able to give birth and make him become a father.

Following the dispersal of the voice recordings, the involved started to reply where Sherine published a voice recording through her Twitter account to reassure her audience about her safety and affirm on her husband’s good intentions “Hussam is a respectful man who doesn’t deserve all this cruelty”. Hussam Habib, himself posted multiple videos later where he condemned his father and Nedal Al Ahmediah, Al Jaras’s editor in chief who he labelled as unprofessional and revealed his intentions to take legal procedures against her.
