The new Marvel production released on Disney+ the pilot episode of “Loki” on the 9th of June. After the pilot episode IMDb rating reached 8.9/10, it topped the trending hashtags of Twitter with over 350 thousand tweets in Egypt. The second episode aired a week later, and received a higher IMDb rating of 9.2/10.
In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Kate Herron directs and Michael Waldron is the head writer.
Jeremy Rodriguez, 30, USA, “the first episode of Loki was the best Marvel series pilot episode so far! Already pouring heavily with the emotions and character building. The way the first episode played out can set up so many awesome possibilities! It was a great introduction for this show and I’m hooked!”
Rodriguez added to “Trendify” that he expects a deeper and closer look into Loki’s character and to see how this show will set up other Marvel projects, mainly Doctor Strange 2 “Multiverse of Madness”.
“I’m not sure if any avenger will show up during this series but Doctor Strange would make sense to appear since we are dealing with timelines,” added Rodriguez.
Rodriguez also commented that Tom Hiddleston as executive producer for 6 episodes is great since the show revolves around him. “So what’s better than having the man who plays Loki and understands his character produce the series himself”.
Marwan Ahmed, 22, “the first episode was fantastic, the fact that Owen Wilson is from the lead roles is also a great addition to the plot”. The series is a suitable opportunity to show the true “God of Mischief” character and allow fans to explore his true identity.
Ahmed added that he expects hints from other Avengers throughout the plot but not necessarily have them personally appear. The fact that Hiddleston is the producer shows his talent through the success of the pilot episode, as it gained an IMDb rating of 8.9/10 and the second episode gained 9.2/10.
Mohamed El-Banna, 27, thinks that “the first episode was amazing.. I've been counting the days to watch it. I believe it sets the whole series for the time travel concept, and the fact that it is a 50 minute episode not 30 like WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is great”.
El-Banna added that he thinks the whole series will be Loki's adventures through time rafts around the timeline. We may also see some old scenes from previous movies or some changes to previous events that could have effects on the current timeline.
The whole series sets the way for future movies and series of Marvel's 4th phase. El-Banna hopes that there will be an appearance of other Avengers such as Thor, the Hulk or Ironman and hopefully Thanos' face with tears of joy.
