Tickets sold out in 2 hours, Massar Egbari founder: Concerts include "Khally Balk mn Zizi" songs

Two hours after the Egyptian band “Massar Egbari” announced their two concerts that would take place on 8th of July at Alexandria Library, tickets were sold out, which left the growing base of the band’s fans in a state of puzzle and surprise as they missed a chance to book or were just astonished by the huge interest in the band’s art. Multiple posts trended on social media about this.

Massoud: A happy surprise to the whole band that tickets were sold this quick

Ayman Massoud, founder of Massar Egbari, said that it was such a happy surprise to the whole band that despite the lockdown restrictions and minimized seats of only 500 per concert, the library granted them, people still wanted to attend and reserved their seats in “no time”.

“We didn’t manage to buy tickets for our own friends”, Massoud mentioned. The 280-LE ticket, provided by the library, came in limited amounts in order for the library to be able to organize to let in all the members and seat them safely in correlation with the safe distancing and seating instructions.

Massoud: Safety measures would be taken in Alexandria library concert

Massoud added to “Trendify”, the open-air concerts would not only include application of safety measures on the attendees’ level, but also the band’s members as the stage would be designed to guarantee the presence of an adequate distance between the stage and the audience.

Massoud: Songs from Khally Balk mn Zizi series and others would be performed in the concert

The band’s songs that people found interesting recently like those from “Khally Balk mn Zizi” series, would be on top of the list in the next concert, Massoud said. “To’aa w T’oom, Sayad and Fakra would be performed”, Massoud said.

“As per summer, we plan to launch a number of songs, go on tours if travel restrictions got diminished and hold similar concert at the Opera or the Castle”, Massoud mentioned.
