Ministry of Health in Cairo Book Fair: Mobile clinics to ensure citizens’ safety



Among the crowds of Cairo International Book Fair’s visitors and between the scattered book booths, the Ministry of Health co-existed through holding clinics for health initiatives administered by the presidency.


“Trendify” monitored the citizens’ interest in the service provided by the ministry of health, that included the presence of community communication teams to raise the citizens’ awareness of the dispersal of COVID-19.





The medical teams of the ministry of Health offered citizens Ethyl Alcohol bottles for sanitation, face masks and hand gel in compliance with the safety precautions.


According to the ministry of Health’s representatives, the ministry's insistence on presence in the Book fair came to ensure the application of the safety precautions in such important events that attract hundreds of visitors.





The ministry’s representative added that the mobile clinics include a doctor, nurses, medications for emergencies in order to provide medical services to the fair’s visitors. In addition, 10 ambulances would be present on a daily basis in support of the event.


A team of preventive medicine specialists is present in order to follow up the required sanitation measures that are taken in all places of the book fair and a plan for medical insurance of the fair is properly followed.
